Albert Otto is a registered civil and geotechnical engineer with over ten years of project experience in Nigeria and Ghana, having worked with Reynolds Construction Company and Fugro Nigeria Limited. He was the head of the Engineering Unit and Quality Assurance at Fugro where he made a major impact by introducing a
wide range of engineering initiatives. He is the senior project manager of Geostatics Nigeria Limited, a sustainable construction, and geotechnical engineering company. He holds a BTech degree in civil engineering and is currently completing a master's in geotechnical engineering program in Nigeria. In 2012, he presented his technical paper, "Sustainable Construction: Towards a Paradigm Shift in Built Development Approach" to the World Engineering Forum (WEF 2012) in Slovenia. A member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Environmental Society, he developed the PROPBAGS System of municipal solid waste management.
His interests are in sustainable construction and recycling.
